What Redmi is to Xiaomi applies to both mobile phones and computers. Back in 2019 they started the Redmi line of computers to stand up to the HONOR MagicBook 14 of the moment (as they literally said) and we have continued to see models of various sizes inheriting features such as the design or the NVIDIA graphics, as we see in the new Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 (2021) .
In this way, the brand has updated the 15-inch model to integrate the 11th generation of Intel processors , since the previous ones were in the 10th. We see that they continue to bet on simplicity in aesthetics and this time it stands out that the screen has a 3.2K resolution .
It seems that Xiaomi has insisted on establishing a style and that its laptops form an entire clone line at an aesthetic level. We would be unable to distinguish one RedmiBook from another seeing any of the previous generation, such as the RedmiBook Air 13 at first glance, although this means that the minimalist and simple design is maintained , with that silver finish.
Of course, in addition to the different input and output ports that we will see below, aspects such as resolution also change. We highlighted it before because the new RedmiBook Pro 15 integrates a 15.6-inch panel with a resolution of 3,200 × 2,000 pixels , escaping from the usual FullHD and giving more meaning to the Pro surname.
It also highlights that the maximum refresh rate is 90 Hz , with a contrast ratio of 1,500: 1 and a density of 242 pixels per inch. The use of the front by this screen is, according to the brand, 89.1%.
Very fast charging and WiFi 6
Inside we see that this 11th generation of Intel comes in two versions, the Intel Core i5-11300H and Intel Core i7-11370H . There is a single 16 GB RAM configuration at the moment, this being DDR4 at 3,200 mAh, with 512 GB storage via a PCIe SSD, with optional NVIDIA MX450 graphics.
